The Acer Aspire One is a cheap netbook, and it’s very widely available. It has a six cell battery option, which gives it a decent battery life. It runs on Intel Atom and Linux, which means it has the perfect intuitive basis for business work.

Dell is renowned for making good computers, and this netbook is no different. It has a reliable build, running the Intel Atom system, and it’s extremely light, weighing in at just 2.3 pounds.

The HP is a very stylish laptop. It has an edge-to-edge 10 inch LED widescreen, which can support the highest resolution, and is easy to work on. The keyboard is almost the same as a standard keyboard, with everything placed where you would expect, and it has a very long battery life.

There is also an ExpressCard slot, so you can increase the storage, or transfer documents across devices. The mouse buttons are oddly placed, but this is easy to get used too, so the only real downside is the cost. The HP Mini is more expensive than the other netbooks, but it’s stylish design and functionality could make up for that.

ASUS N10Jc

This is a big netbook, which has plenty of useful features. It was marketed as a corporate netbook, featuring a large, clear widescreen, and it contains a nVidia Geforce 9300M GS graphics processing unit, meaning it has amazing graphics for a netbook.

It also has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 160gb hard drive and 1gb of RAM. It’s easy to use, and very stylish, mixing black and silver tones to make a very attractive netbook. This is another expensive option, due to the improved system and larger size, but its designed specifically for business use and may be easier to adapt too if you are used to using a fullsize desktop.
These laptops are all capable of using the internet, sending and receiving emails, and creating and editing documents. They are all stylish, portable and much cheaper than buying a laptop for each member of staff. Most of these netbooks are less than a quarter of the price of a proper business laptop!
